Update on the Keyboard Cat app charity event for Haiti
Thanks to generous contributions from Keyboard Cat fans worldwide who purchased the specially priced iPhone app over the last week, $154 was raised to help Haiti earthquake relief efforts!
This amount will now be split equally as donations to the Red Cross and Doctors Without Borders organizations.
Of course, it’s not too late to contribute and we strongly encourage you to make donations of your own in any amount you can afford!
Help Haiti relief efforts with Keyboard Cat
For the coming week, all proceeds from sales of the Keyboard Cat app for iPhone will be donated to charities on the ground to help the victims of the Haiti earthquake.
The price of the app has been temporarily doubled (to $1.99 US) to maximize the impact of this special charity event. The total amount of the donation will be announced a week from now.
If you have an iPhone or iPod touch and haven’t gotten the app yet, here is your chance to do something helpful while getting something fun in return! Click the button below to head to the app’s page on the App Store.
Of course, you may also help relief efforts through donations to the American Red Cross, Oxfam, Doctors Without Borders, and other organizations. Every dollar helps.
In the US, you may also use any phone to text HAITI to 90999 to make a $10 donation to the Red Cross through your mobile phone bill.
That’s what Fatso would have wanted. Play Off the Misery, Keyboard Cat!
